I wouldn't have necessarily expected a game like Microsoft Flight to show up on Steam, but such an arrival does put the free-to-play flight sim in front of a bunch of new gamers, so you can't really argue with those results. There's also a new premium add-on plane, the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero.

If you're among the people waiting for some form of a discount on the paid downloadable content, a bundle on Steam might be of interest. For $29.99, you get the Hawaiian Adventure Pack, the Maule M-7-260C, and the North American P-51 Mustang. That's around $13 in savings.

On top of some screenshots for the A6M2 Zero, I've also tossed in images of the impending Alaskan Wilderness Pack, which looks to be a nice change of pace from Hawaii. It's playable this weekend at PAX East over in the Xbox booth.

Though I do desperately hope to one day see a full-on resurgence of aerial combat games, I've never been a die-hard fan of flight sims. I wholeheartedly respect the people who make them and the ensuing audience that appreciat...more

Microsoft Flight will be free starting this spring

Though "simulator" is nowhere to be found in the name, Microsoft Flight -- due out this spring as a free-to-play PC game -- is still very much what it sounds like. Accommodating new players seems to be a focal point, especial...more

Players spend more on World of Tanks than other online titles

We already know that World of Tanks is pretty darn big but it helps when your average player is spending more on tanks than any other online game. A report over on SuperData Research has shed some light as to what the av...more

Play this crappy Raid 2 brawler & you could win an Xbox One

The Raid is a great action film. It's sequel comes out this Friday. I assume it's also good. I saw a "making of" GIF where they pass a camera through a car window to the passenger seat, which is actually a disguised person, w...more

Review: Rusty's Real Deal Baseball

During the first hour of Rusty's Real Deal Baseball I babysat one of the titular character's 10 kids, played a 4DS, and fed him donuts while I listened to his marital problems. I'm glad Nintendo decided to make this game.more
