Microsoft has promised that, whether you want it to be or not, next year will be all about Kinect as a "brilliant" software lineup begins to unveil itself.
"As for the future, we've got a brilliant line-up for 2011 but it's ultimately about Kinect," boasts UK demagogue Stephen McGill. "Kinect is going to blow people's minds. They're [already] buying it, but we've got a line-up of Kinect games that will blow people away."
Cool. If Microsoft is all about Kinect in 2011, Jim Sterling is all about anything that isn't an Xbox 360. Sounds fair.

Well, Killzone is coming out next year....this is the part where I say Resistance 3
I don't hate it. It's just that particular take on motion control has zero appeal to me whatsoever, so if MS is going to focus entirely on that, I have no interest in the company.
I guess I'll just be picking up what I missed for it next year, then?
@Jim why would they focus on hardcore gamers next year, there no money to be made off us compared to the casual crowd. Microsoft is a business so they are just in it for the money, with that said I hope that dont spend all their resources on kinect enabled titles. I would like some more Alan wake ( not kinect enabled).
Microsoft should remember who bought their consoles in the first place...

I have seen Kinect in action and it is quite an impressive bit of kit, albeit one with very little interest to me.

In 2011 I will be a PC/wii/ps3 gamer PC cause I like TF2 and I'm getting more involved with my PC.Wii because I just got a Red limited edition Nintendo wii :D and I have alot of wii games to catch up on And I'm getting tired of sitting on my ass playing gAMES looking at a screen (And I'm going to hack the hell out of it and also play tons of my fav old Gamecube games)...And PS3 Because I'm getting tired of paying for Xbox and them TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY GODDAMN ACCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY MAKING ME HAVE TO PAY fukin OVER DRAFT Fee's Of $35 For a $10 fee -_- WARNING TO ALL XBL users if you use a credit card O_o Microsoft will Automatically Renew it O_o So you have to CALL I REPEAT CALL Them and Tell them not to do it...(they took the Don't renew option off the Website...Slick bastards) OH and Ps3 because I realized that it has better exclusives than the 360 and Free online ANd Most of the best games on the 360 are multiplatform anyway so it's like...why not just get the other one...I don't like Gears anyway and Halo got boring O_o But I will Miss SOME of my XBLA arcade games...But I Think PS1 classic games will make up 4 it :-}
From a different viewpoint I am interested in what Microsoft can do with the Kinect that couldn't be done with the Wii. We've seen the imitators, now let's see some groundbreakers.
Buttload of games? I own both the PS3 and X360 and as a gamer who was constantly supporting the Microsoft's console, I feel kinda tricked. I'm good with getting new customers to our 'family', but not in the way Microsoft wants to do it, kinda pissing on all of the guys who are NOT interested with Kinect.
At the moment, I am propably interested with ~2 exclusives for X360 in 2011. Is is so hard to support not only the new Kinect guys, but also us, gamers who made Xbox 360 the big success is it today?

Actually, Kung Fu Rider is an Eye game, and its pretty much encouraged to flail around like an idiot.
Also, Dance Central is being praised by a lot of people as being a good kinect dance game due to its responsiveness and fun factor that it has, ESPECIALLY DURING PARTIES.
