Michael Jackson's Moonwalker heading to Virtual Console photo

Moonwalker, the game everybody found an excuse to keep talking about after Michael Jackson died, finally has some relevant news attached to it. The game is scheduled for release on the Wii's Virtual Console, with European rating system PEGI spilling the beans.

Grabbing both children and your crotch, sometimes at the same time, Moonwalker puts you in the shoes of Michael "everybody who made fun of him suddenly pretended it wasn't funny anymore" Jackson. The world's very first real-life Splicer, Michael Jackson's mangled face was everywhere back in the good old days, be it film, television, and this here Genesis videogame. To be honest, the game's pretty crap, but nostalgia fans will likely love it.

Anyway, there you go. Moonwalker will be coming to VC soon, and if you don't buy it, you are disrespecting the dead and will go to Hell.

Yeah, without the context of the film Moonwalker, the game just comes off as bizarre.

i like most of his music, and he's not to bad himself... but yeah. My mother is a huge fan so i've kinda always been exposed to his music.
On a side note i listen to heavy metal...

Michael Jackson: White, plays with little boys, and grabs his "unit" when doing his job.
The Wii: White, played with by little boys, and your required to waggle the "unit" to do the job.

Nintendo you diddling bastards.

MJ didn't die of cardiac arrest, he fell off a boat and drowned. The lifeguards wouldn't throw him a boy.

Why did MJ call the boy band Boyz2Men? He thought they were a delivery service.

Did you guys hear what they're doing with MJ's body? They're making him into Lego pieces so little kids can still play with him. It's also so he can still be a hazard to kids under the age of 3.

I liked that game as a kid. Sure, it would suck if I played it now, but most old games do. Remember trying to catch the shooting star that would turn you into a robot? Good stuff.

I'll never, ever forget this weird and wacky Jacko game... How could you not?! I mean, you could make MJ moonwalk, spin him to activate his sparkle attack and even toss his fedora at enemies! Not to mention the Thriller inspired stage where you could make the zombies dance!
Video games don't get much stranger than that!
Who's bad?!
Also, Bubbles the chimp.

This is honestly the most accurate movie-to-game adaptation I've played in my life.
