Represenin' 305! Too lazy to fix my daylight savings time and half asleep, barely coherent, and talking into the camera I found myself driving and running around the brand new (and yet still filthy) Circuit City and Target locations in Miami. This was a great opportunity for me to meet local gamers, tell them about what we do, and hear their stories from the front lines as they camped for almost 3 full days.
Despite all of the stores I visited, not a single person could tell me what game they were buying first with absolute certainty. The promise of next-gen gaming from Sony and the brand lovalty for the PlayStation is a very powerful thing, it will be interesting to see what happens tonight when we do the rounds for Wii campers. In this update you'll meet an EB Games camper who had to resort to going to Best Buy because they're not taking care of their own, a desperate woman who's trying to beat the self-formed government of campers who took organization in their own hands as Target wasn't prepared, and what Cindy Margolis looks like on the cover of PlayBoy. this toysrus is having a midnight launch. only other places i know of that are having midnights launches are the 24 hour walmarts
