We discovered last month that THQ had registered a few domain names tied to the Metro 2033 name. Well now THQ has confirmed that the sequel is on the way. It's going to be called Metro: Last Light and that's all the news we have on that.
Yup. Yay?
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I thought it's rep as a severely broken/buggy game was overblown. There was some glitches, but no more than many other games. Some of the game system balances (enemy awareness, filter stockpile, etc.) could use some tweaking for sure, but it seemed like a lot of people who had the biggest issues were trying to blow through the game as if it was standard twitch blaster rather than a slower-paced, exploration FPS.
Humans came down pretty quickly with headshots and well-placed knives.
I agree. As much as I loved the atmosphere and the story, gameplay mechanics have to make sense within the confines of the game's reality. I blasted a Nazi pointblank with a friggin' shotgun six times AND HAD TO RELOAD TO KILL HIM. If human beings in this world can take an entire clip of shotgun shells to the sternum and not even wince, then why the hell would monsters and radiation even bother them?
FUCK YEAH!!!
"Because the first was so great?"
Correct.
Fixed.
Their are some glitch problems but nothing as bad as F:NV.
@Marar: I'm certain I was at least playing on Normal, but I must admit I didn't expect enemy HP to go down with the difficulty going up. I might give it a try.
It could have just been because I played differently. Basically, all of my human kills were stealth kills, and most of the time I would just avoid fighting altogether to save ammunition if possible.
Yeah you definitely need to play this game on a harder difficulty. I never remember having a l
