It was only last month that Metal Slug 2 completed its journey to iOS and Android devices. As promised, SNK Playmore USA is back with a similar release for Metal Slug X, the updated version of the aforementioned game. It's available as of today for $3.99 on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Once again, this is being referred to as a "perfect port of the original NEOGEO game." While I do realize what they mean by that phrase, it still feels disingenuous given the nature of how these games are played with touch controls. I don't want my thumb to be the protagonist! For a certain group of people, it's not really an issue. I'm jealous of them.
