Metal Gear-themed DLC on its way to LittleBigPlanet photo

Because it's impossible to keep secrets from the Internet, it has come to light that LittleBigPlanet will be receiving some Metal Gear Solid-themed downloadable content in the near future.

Word comes from Sony Hong Kong's Web site, which showed off Snake, Meryl, Screaming Mantis, and Raiden costumes for your little cloth man-woman-thing. There will also be a MGS-themed level pack available as well, which should help you make your stealthy-sack-dreams a reality.

We have no clue when this stuff will become available for everyone to start playing with; it could be as early as tomorrow. But since it's already showing up on official Sony Web sites, it shouldn't be too long before you're given the privilege to spend cash on what may be the coolest LBP DLC to date.

Oh fuck dammit! That looks awesome! Just as awesome as MrSadistic's avatar at the moment. I wonder what's in the 'Level Pack'. Do want it all!

It has everything I'd want except a cardboard box that fits over Sackboy.

Kool. Looks really cute and everything. The Old Snake and Screaming Mantis looks kick ass. I especially like the little Physco Mantis and The Sorrow Dolls that Screaming Mantis is holding, damn it, its so cute! I might get this, depending on the price.

SephirothX is right. I didn't think about that. Would be awesome to hide from the other players in a level full of boxes.

DAMN IT!

When I heard that rumor a while ago that "level packs" were going to be made for games like MGS, Final Fantasy and such, I was looking forward to playing ACTUAL THEMED LEVELS referencing those games.

Now, I get bupkis. Well, a couple of the costumes are cool, but this item buying thing is stupid. Someone out there will buy it, copy the items, make a level out of it, and let me win all of them at the end of a short level. Why pay for it?

Gonna say it again. The game is about creating your own levels. If you can't do it you'd better play Super Mario.

What others have said: we now need a cardboard box vehicle.

I think a lot of the LBP DLC isn't worth it, but I'm loving the Screaming Mantis costume.

I shall buy that shit, as long as it isn't super expensive. As in over $10
