It's probably just because I've seen this trailer so many times over the past year not in English that seeing it in English now feels a bit off. I mean, Sony even showed it off again, in full, when Kojima was on-stage at TGS talking about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and, later, showcasing some of its new bits, like slow-mo.
Not having that instantly familiar David Hayter growl probably contributed to the effect, too, but I'm not ready to write off Keifer Sutherland's performance based on that small amount of dialogue. You can, of course, feel free to.
