I don't know what this world is coming to when the world premiere of a trailer for a handheld game is kinda-sorta a big deal. Wait, wait ... it's also a game that you can play on a phone. This is getting ridiculous!
But I figured I should tell you, since like I said -- it's kinda-sorta a big deal. Yeah, it's Metal Gear Solid Touch I'm talking about, the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot spin-off that's coming to the iPhone/iPod Touch later this year. The Kojima Productions third-person title was announced late last year to some shock, but this week's GameTrailers TV will be the first (and only, at least for an hour or so) place you can see it in action.
GameTrailers TV airs on Spike TV every Friday, and the times vary depending on your local cable provider. Mine airs at 1 A.M., at least six hours after I've dragged my old, weary bones into bed. But you should set your DVR or something. That's what I do.
