If you don't want even more revealed about Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, look away now. This is the latest trailer for MGS4 and as usual, it does what MGS trailers do best: Over-expose the game, take away big surprises ... and yet strangely still make one ridiculously excited for the game.

Lord knows what Kojima is cooking up with this one, but I'm down with it.  This trailer brings a few new hops (chiefly the one that Cam Clarke may be able to do some role reprisal after all) but I'll try not to get too excited for the possibilities. There's no telling when Kojima will throw a curve ball.

This game is going to be excellent, I feel safe expecting at least that much.

Why would this be the only thing worth getting a PS3 for? Are Halo 3, Lost Odyssey, and Castle Crashers that good?

Dan CiTi - No,but Bioshock,Mass Effect,and Ninja Gaiden 2 are.As far as exclusives go,PS3 has nothing.MGS is Sony's trump card right now and they know it.They are expecting MGS4 to do for PS3 what MGS1 did for PS1.I love the MGS series,and will be buying a PS3 just for this game.

remember when kojima said he was doing something in the opening and closing cinematics that had never done before? I think this what that pertains to. And i also think i suck at pronouns. But anyway i bet there will be playable dream sequences either in settings of older games or actual parts of older games. And we cant limit it to just mgs flashbacks there's no reason why he couldnt hit every game.

Gran tourismo , resistance , warhawk , uncharted ... are pretty good exclusives too for the PS3 ... also a lots of people are waiting for the next socom on the PS3 and with MGS4 PS3 should be doing great in 2008

Yeah, hit the ole false buzzer on that one. PS3 is fighting an uphill battle they may never win coming n a year after and not releasing with as many high quality games as the 360 in its second year (yet... not releasing as much crap as the 360 in its first year either...), but the PS3 has some great games, both exclusive and cross-platform. With all the cross-platform games on the PS3 and the increasing exclusives, the PS3 definitely can hold its own when it comes to game quality and quantity.
