An, these are the finest wordsmiths on the Internet. Seriously if you don't like a game, just don't buy it. I don't get this "I must validate my own opinion!" crap. It's your money, bobby Kotick doesn't have a gun to your head.
How can they judge a game when they obviously have the mental capacity of someone who is still in grade school?

Well it is grading on a curve for a game that's been unchanged for years. The best way to get around the haters is for CoD to just suck it up and go a full on service pack router stead of this half added Elite caca.

I know I can always come to the site when a huge game is launched to get some high-quality reading material. Come on bro guys, it's a fucking game! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play some Battlefield 3. (but, be assured, I will be purchasing both MW3 and Skyrim when I get paid thursday because games are games are games, and if they're fun, I will play them.)
Jim, doesn't your spiel about being childish come to bite you in the ass now? Metacritic and Amazon review bombing makes these two tools less useful to customers now. Haters gonna hate, but we shouldn't let that choke good games from getting the sales they need (not that MW3 needs to worry about that).

That being said, I admire Jim's insistent support of Metacritic. I maintain that though Metacritic isn't "the bad guy" here, they're a meaningless vessel which does nothing but encourage this kind of behavior. The games industry would not suffer without Metacritic and people would no longer complain about MC scores in reviews.

That first guy who claimed that trolling is worse than being retarded made a pretty good point, I have to admit.
It's quite telling how despite Fanboy Friday being long gone we still get several of these stories on the front page.

Seriously, I could not care less about MW3, but I'm happy that there are people who can find games they enjoy. Just because MW3 exists, does not lessen my enjoyment of War in the North, and soon, Skyrim. Why this concept is so hard to grasp for the internet is beyond me.

It just seems so immature and mean spirited for people to be going this hard in this direction. These people have some fucked up priorities, and Im starting to think that Activision's response to the EA fanning the flames of a BF3 vs. MW3 about it being "bad for the business" as being really spot on. EA encouraged this sort of dumbfuckery and it looks really bad.
Well, for many many games the user-score is closer to reality. Take user reviews for L.A. Noire or GTA 4 and compare for yourself.

I dunno. I kinda liked BF more than these games, so I have my bias on my sleeve, but I enjoyed what little I played in BF3 than what little I played in MW3.
Then again I did get MW3 via alternative means, so I could be having a different experience.

i would agree with those guys - got a chance to play it(i would never get it) and yeah game is subpar at best. in terms of singleplayer it's basically the exact same thing as MW2, but the best part is how much of the ingame content and assets was recycled in the worst kind of way. i played LOADS of Call of Duty 4 years ago and still remember most of the maps - we hit multiplayer in MW3 and immediately i know huge chunk of the maps cause Infinity Ward simply reskinned maps from the past CoD games. they didn't even bother to polish or slightly change objects and buildings from CoD4 before putting them into MW3 - where did that 50+mln$ development budget of each Call of Duty game gone?

Destructoid reviews are always good for a laugh, and the level of love they have for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a riot. Currently, the game boasts a 9.5/10 score average, as Jim pour admiration on the nonetheless rehashed franchise.
Here's what one enthusiastic user had to say about it:
"As one of those rare sorts who enjoys Modern Warfare the most for its narrative campaign, I can confirm that this concluding story in the saga is a satisfactory one."
These are just a highlights of what might be the great not so well-written, thought-provoking review on the Destrutoid. I never used to agree with people saying that a lobotomized tard named jim could do my work better than the average joe, but this review definitely seem to have validated the argument.
