You know, I had an entirely different wall of text that I was about to write here, but then three ghosts visited me last night and showed me the true meaning of the Internet. So, without further ado or any unwarranted snarkiness, allow me to say a few things.
Over the past year, a lot have things have changed here at Destructoid. There have been some good things have happened along with there being some trying times. But regardless of whether we've been up or down, one thing has always been certain: Destructoid would not be what it is today if weren't for all the personality, humor, and dedication that our community members bring to the site each and every day. (Yes, you.)
So, we as editors and contributors, would like to take this moment to wish not only our amazing community members, but all our industry friends and everyday readers a very, very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays this year.
And speaking of our amazing community members, I would like to take another moment of your time and tell you about their continued awesomeness. See, one of our community members isn't really having the best of Christmases this year. I won't get into the exact why and what of all the things that are happening to take some of the joy out of Bryan "Tazaroot" Coffee's Christmas, but let's just say that things could be better.
Well Bryan, I just want to let you know that each and every one of us is hoping that things will work out for you, and that you don't let all the crap the world gives you get you down. So to cheer you up and put a smile on the face that has given us so many in the past; a bunch of us got together to make this video for you that you see above. We hope that it makes your Christmas a little brighter.

@tazar: Keep on truckin’, dude. Time heals all wounds. As I said before, I had pneumonia in second grade, and while I may have missed two weeks of school, I’m still here, 14 years later. Granted, I may have reduced lung function, but hey, who’s keeping track?
