Sometimes, players want to take in a thought-provoking narrative, with realistic character development and emotional events. Other times, players just want to shoot robots and blow things up. Meltdown is definitely meant for the latter.

One of the neater features is cross-platform cooperative play. Meltdown is out on Steam Early Access for PC and Mac now, with Android, iOS, and OUYA versions available as well. PC, Mac, and Android players should be able to team up with one another, and cross-platform play is coming soon for the iOS version. Otherwise, it just looks like it could be mindless fun, but then, that might just be the dubstep trailer influencing my opinions...
