"Do Not Attempt" says the opening to this silly video. Someone on the internet has to somehow break every noted piece of electronics released, so we knew it was only a matter of time before we saw a broken Nintendo 3DS. Here the 3DS is being microwaved. Stupid, I know. And I also know that we're only fueling this fire by posting this story.
I thought it was a classy choice to microwave the system while on, with the system's camera running. As you'll see in the video, that camera only stays up for a second or so. The system oozes, bursts, and does all the other funny things that electronics do when placed in a running microwave. Somehow the right speaker happens to be the place where all the smoke comes out of. It only takes about a minute for this system to catch on fire.

oh so thats what you're suppose to do with that silly thing, I thought I was suppose to take my future 3DS and use it as a bullet proof vest in compton.
its art. almost perfect art. you got a metro/possibly gay muslim guy destroying something with definite value and reselling it at a ridiculous price. its only missing a tall dark haired wife who has to teach him to use the microwave.
At least the monster (Troll or perhaps some kind of Gremlin) who filmed the mutilation of that copy of the Last Story had the decency to keep his mouth shut while doing the deed.
Maybe this guy should voice an evil greater than Gannon in the next Legend of Zelda game (at least on the 3DS,providing the evil laugh if it wouldn't be fully voiced)?
After the lengths (mostly of time) that 'TriForce' Johnson went through to get one, that would be appropriate though it would reward his bad behavior (no, I'm not talking about TriForce!).
This was pretty funny. Also funny is the amount of butthurt comments no doubt coming from people relying on their parents income for such systems, annoyed someone just doesnt care.
I found it hilarious when it exploded into flames for some reason. All I have to say is that Nintendo wasn't kidding about that super tough plastic they used for the casing.
I imagine the electromagnet in a speaker really freaks out inside of a microwave field. In that regard,it makes sense that its the first thing to spew smoke everywhere.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I hope they get colon cancer.
