I find your time well spent, and your input very constructive.
...Actually, the episode was pretty crap.
I prefer the "Let's annoy the heck out of random people" videos they do/did.
The poop sock I found strangely arousing and look forward to using in the future.
I actually like their scripted stuff better. The ones where they go screw with people just make me uncomfortable. I don't know why, but they just bug me to even watch.
Once you can actually get in, Diablo 3 is incredibly fun. It has the same hack-and-slash linear feel of the first two, but at insane difficulty or harder, it becomes all about builds, gear, and tactics rather than DPS and point-and-click. They are constantly updating, tweaking skill sets, and adding new ones, though, so builds that work great one day may not work the same the next. This also adds to the challenge and creativity, which I like.
For those who do not want to experiment, and just want to have the most badass builds, level insanely fast, learn how to make gold, and find the best gear... the folks over at the Codex have put together a top notch site with tips, tricks, builds, and tactics, which is way overpowered.
Personally, I think you miss out if you don't do your own experimentation, and the game is made for that type of play. It is what gives it replay value. ;)
