Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

i agree. i dont actually think they are that good at messing with random people as well (compared to other shows/webisodes that do it). i usually skip those vids altogether.

I wouldn't call the ending RANDOM. As someone who has passively followed both Weezer and Sonic over the years, I can tell you that they amount to essentially the same thing in their respective forms of entertainment.
Also Weezer is a terrible horrible band that was never good ever like 98% other mainstream bands

But as per the discussion of the actual food joint... it's such a mixed bag, no? I never wake up and think "Ya know, I can't make hamburgers with toast at home, let's go to Sonic!" I know it's an old-time feeling they're trying to evoke, but blerg. Drinks kick ass from time to time, however.
... But why does Weezer come in at the end? :/
I watch their podcast and they believe Weezer hasn't done anything good for a few albums. I understand their point because the blue album and Pinkterton we're epic but I still enjoy what they put out.
But I still totally get what they're going for.
And Weezer at the end was brilliant. I woke up my roommate because I couldn't stop laughing. :(
These guys are based out in Santee, California(San Diego) if I'm not mistaken. I live about 5 miles from them.
A lot of their stuff is also filmed in La Mesa/El Cajon, as well as other more general San Diego areas, so I don't know exactly what part of San Diego they're based out in. Though none of that explains the Sonic.
There are now two Sonic locations in SD country, one in Santee and one in Vista, with more on the way.
