Mega64 (remember their
'greatest skit ever'?) has
updated their news page with a big fatty chunk of news, some new announcements, and some event attendance reminders. Oh,
and this, if you dig that kind of thing.
Their new DVD, "Mega64 Time", is a compilation of a their 'best and most random skits' packed into two discs. One disc has popular clips, convention footage, behind-the-scenes action, and some new content, while the other has "
every single video game ad ever made by Mega64" along with comentary and extra features. You should be able to nab this collection on July 26th
in their online store, though con-hoppers can grab it at the San Diego Comic Con.
Speaking of conventions: They'll be there at Comic Con (July 26-29th) as well as American mega-con (40,000+ attendees, yo)
Anime Expo in Long Beach at the beginning of July. Oh, and you're going to the
Penny Arcade Expo, right? Mega64 will be there, too (as will Destructoid), so you don't want to miss that.
Lastly, while in San Diego for Comic Con, Mega64 will be holding a premiere screening at the La Jolla Landmark Theater on Friday, July 27th at 9:30PM. Attendees will be able to meet the cast, see two new episodes, and even some new skits. You can purchase tickets for "An Evening of Mega64"
