Mega Man Zero Collection is set to hit the Nintendo DS on June 8 here in North America. The collection will retail for $29.99 and will include all four of the Mega Man Zero games that were released for the Game Boy Advance. You can expect some new features as well such as an easy mode to be included in this re-release.

For more on the game, check out the official Mega Man Zero Collection website which just launched today. The press release for this announcement also says to check out this post on Capcom-Unity for more details, but it's the same exact info on the blog that's in the press release. Capcom's PR tricked me. Jerks.

All games need an easy mode to appease and ease casual fans into the genre.

MM10's easy mode was great.

I already have them all...and I can play them on my DSL. As much as I'd like to support Megaman, I can't really justify it.

Agreed with Magnalon. If any Megaman game needs an easy mode, it's DEFINITELY Megaman Zero.

Man, this collection is really enticing me. I remember getting my ass beat by the first Zero, then setting it down because I haven't completed the entire X series yet.

Still haven't... I think it's time to boot up Mega Man X4. Fun game.

It's weird hearing that theme song in the first minute or so because I don't even consider the 2 Zero's of the Megaman universe the same. I don't even think they officially are.

Oh god yes. I only played Zero 4, but I absolutely loved it. Playing them all on the DS is going to be fantastic.

Provided that Capcom does a good job at porting this (aka not the Sega method), I'll definitely get this. And I'll play the Easy mode. Because I am a wuss.

SQUEEEEE

I think I love Zero as a character more in the X universe, but the gameplay within the Zero universe, especially the RPG elements and multiple weapons, makes up for those short comings.

Only played the first 2 Zero's, but looks like now I'll have no reason to not play them all.

@Los255

They officially are. Battle Network and Star Force are in their own universe while all the other series are in their universe. It goes Classic, X, Zero, ZX, then Legends.

It's hard to even play something like Mega Man ZX with the buttons so close together and the screen moving with every twitch you have to make to not die. If I could play these on my television instead, somehow, I would definitely give this my serious consideration.

Hurray! Now I can finally play all the Z games! Getting them all at once is a great incentive.

@Lugtor

LOL! You thing they are milking mega man too much now?

Do you know why Mega Man never had a Cow man? because Mega Man is Cow man. Capcom milks him like twice a day.

Despite the "Milking", The megaman games are great. You do want this, I want this. I can't wait.

What would make this an instant buy for me: Ability to use weapons outside of their home games. Such as, Chain Rod in 1. Or Triple Rod in 4. Etc. I'm sure the Knuckle can't be used to great effect in the other three games, but come on. ;P

Hmm.. I think it'd be interesting if you could use the weapon systems from the later games in the older games, and vice versa. That'd be an interesting feature. Either way... W00T ZERO COLLECTION!

Easy Mode? This is good news for me. Megaman is like Zelda for me: Enjoyable, awesome, pure win baked into every installment, but impossible to get past the first boss without cheating for infinite health or somesuch. I plan on finding out firsthand if Easy Mode changes that. It'll be so much fun to finally beat the first boss with barely any health left instead of twenty hearts (or whatever Zero calls his health meter). Furthermore, I will finally have a use for those Cyber-elves that give Zero more health and other upgrades.

I already have most of them, but I want to know what the extra content will be since it looks like they aren't going to make use of the dual screens at all.

This game has the most attractive box art I've seen in some time. And I love the Zero games, so I look forward to purchasing it.
