Damn I think this game had soooo much potential. Look at the success of Super Meat Boy. Imagine that and all the customization that went along with it using Capcom characters? It could've been epic. Id love to hear Inafune's thoughts on this

Yeah I'm a huge fan of Mega Man, and this was not looking that interesting for me. It also looked really sloppy in all it's customizability (because that is now a word). And as previously mentioned, the art style was kind of trash.
What a shame, oh well, just don't cancel MegaMan Legends 3 Capcom PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD

I'm with your sentiments on that Conrad. Hopefully they decide to bring that MMO over in it's stead. I thought that it looked more interesting in the end.
I really wanted this to work, but I understand it had troubled development and never felt right. But I swear if you motherfuckers cancel legends 3, ohohoh, don't make that mistake.
Sounds like April Fool's to me, otherwise yeah, the art style of it all didn't seem that consistent.
I'm kinda glad this is gone since it looked pretty crappy, but I hope this doesn't affect the future of Mega Man negatively.
They didn't need to scrap it outright, but it needed LOTS of fixing.

Let's see, the creator of Mega Man left the company. Then not a single variant of Mega Man was in MvC 3, which is the first time that's happened in a MvC or TvC game. (Mega Man was not in the CvSNK games, but all the characters that were featured were fighting game characters.. with most being straight from SF. Not really comparable).
Now the next major MM release has been canceled. Also, MML3 has never officially entered production....
Well, good bye Mega Man. We had some great decades, but I guess it's time to move on and play... umm... what else does Capcom have besides SF and Resident Evil? Dead Rising I guess?
