The fan-made Mega Man film we have been reporting on for awhile now is finally out! Eddie Lebron's live-action adaptation of the classic Capcom videogame is done, and it's now on ScrewAttack for your viewing pleasure.
You'll have to set aside 90 minutes to watch it all. I've been watching it this morning while working and I have to say that it's not half bad. The audio is mostly impressive. The CG isn't quite "Hollywood," but it gets the job done, and looks really nice in some scenes. I love Wily, though. He's amazing. There is some awkward I'm in the frame but I don't know what to do here scenes, but judging a fan film against a Hollywood flick is silly. Only as*holes do that.
The work I've seen so far shows that this is a labor of love, and so I tip my hat to Mr. Lebron and his cast and crew.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Man, I've been looking forward to this since I first saw the preview! Also, can't wait to see more Dr. Wily, as I'm sure he'll easily steal the show! As most villains in movies do. =)
And it was when Nintendo was in its Gamecube days, where they should have taken any help they could have gotten. My friends movie was a hell of a lot better than the official Super mario movie, okay, I know that isn't necessarily a compliment.
The only major beef I had was with Roll, she was a bit too bubbly
Well, I must say that I was completely satisfied with what I saw. It could have used a bit of work here and there (and TBH, I was nitpicking quite a bit), but it was great nonetheless, ESPECIALLY given that it was a fan-film. Totally worth the wait, and totally made my day! Great job, Eddie!
At least LeBron was accurate with the bosses. Frickin' Elec Bitch and his Force Lightning spam. I was also happy to see an overpowered Yellow Devil.
Wily kept me watching. His dialogue, though, not so much. The dialogue in general was very vague, almost as if translated or something.
Roll was ridiculous.
I totally recommend this movie.
