Mega Man film is out, is awesome in its own way photo

The fan-made Mega Man film we have been reporting on for awhile now is finally out! Eddie Lebron's live-action adaptation of the classic Capcom videogame is done, and it's now on ScrewAttack for your viewing pleasure.

You'll have to set aside 90 minutes to watch it all. I've been watching it this morning while working and I have to say that it's not half bad. The audio is mostly impressive. The CG isn't quite "Hollywood," but it gets the job done, and looks really nice in some scenes. I love Wily, though. He's amazing. There is some awkward I'm in the frame but I don't know what to do here scenes, but judging a fan film against a Hollywood flick is silly. Only as*holes do that.

The work I've seen so far shows that this is a labor of love, and so I tip my hat to Mr. Lebron and his cast and crew.

Heh, I'm downloading this for later. It's Mega Man -- I don't care how bad it is, it has to be good. :P

After I go see this other small, independent film called Iron Man 2 I may watch this later tonight. ;)
Man, I've been looking forward to this since I first saw the preview! Also, can't wait to see more Dr. Wily, as I'm sure he'll easily steal the show! As most villains in movies do. =)

Finished watching it, didn't watch anything prior to it though so it was more interesting and fresh. Last handful of CGI was pretty good.

I guess Capcom is a littler friendlier than Nintendo. A friend of mine made a Mario fan movie, contacted Nintendo for permission, it was for fun, not for profit etc. They just wanted to cover their bases, then they got a cease and desist letter. They made the movie anyway, knowing it was so low key that Nintendo wouldn't find out.

And it was when Nintendo was in its Gamecube days, where they should have taken any help they could have gotten. My friends movie was a hell of a lot better than the official Super mario movie, okay, I know that isn't necessarily a compliment.

Actually Eddie Lebron said in an interview that he spoke to Capcom, and that they were fine with it as long as it was "Not for Profit". Now after seeing it, I think they should try to get more behind the project. Had an epic story, and the soundtrack really made you get behind it. It was cool to hear the orchestrated remixes of those familiar tunes. Tons of throwback to the games, and totally worth a watch. I also donated to the site and am expecting my DVD copy in the mail.

Movie tooooooooooooo long. Gets so boring. CG is impressive though for how low budget it is.

I really enjoyed the movie after waitng so long to see it ( like 2 years). It was really well done and well thought out.

The only major beef I had was with Roll, she was a bit too bubbly

Well, I must say that I was completely satisfied with what I saw. It could have used a bit of work here and there (and TBH, I was nitpicking quite a bit), but it was great nonetheless, ESPECIALLY given that it was a fan-film. Totally worth the wait, and totally made my day! Great job, Eddie!

Just GO and See It. Two years of waiting and it was worth the wait. Also, The Megas.

Protoman and Dr. Wily were brilliant in that movie. The fights were moderately lame, though. It didn't look like any of the actors knew what they were doing.

At least LeBron was accurate with the bosses. Frickin' Elec Bitch and his Force Lightning spam. I was also happy to see an overpowered Yellow Devil.

Wrong choice for Dr. Light.
Wily kept me watching. His dialogue, though, not so much. The dialogue in general was very vague, almost as if translated or something.
Roll was ridiculous.
I totally recommend this movie.

Still there is room for greater development and I would recommend more emphasis on research and of course it will bring a better situation. Thanks for sharing a nice read. Cheers
