Mega Man 9 arranged soundtrack website provides free samples photo

Is Mega Man 9 getting a little over-exposed? Inti Creates, the game's developer, doesn't seem to think so. They haven't wasted anytime in releasing yet another Mega Man 9 soundtrack, this time ditching the chip tunes sound that Mega Man 9 is famous for in favor of electric guitars, violins, and a whole bunch of synthesizers. Also, a cute girl singing her squeaky heart out.

Hit this link and click on the samples at the top of the page to listen for yourself. If you like what you hear and have a way to buy stuff from Japanese websites, you apparently get a keen over-jacket sticker of the soundtrack's cover if you pre-order it directly from E-Capcom or participating stores. The soundtrack goes on sale October 25th, so start saving up now.

Personally, I hoping they release these alternate arrangements as DLC for Mega Man 9. I love the game's soundtrack as it is, but that Hornet Man remix is too jazzy to deny.

[Thanks Brad for the translation help!]

The Magma Man remix is probabaly my favorite out of the samples, but the original tracks overall (I don't know whether it's the key signature or what...), just don't really fit with the song styles used.

I'd like to see what Dale North, or the guys at OC Remix will do with the soundtrack though. It's only a matter of time. (I think I saw a Concrete Man mix floating around the internet the other day as a matter of fact..)

I'm not suprised.

They made one for the Megaman Zeros, ZX, and ZXA, so I'm not suprised they would do this for 9.

Examples:

Freesia ; remastered version of the base camp theme from Zero 4

Remix of the song in the 8-bit mini-game from ZXA

Esperanto ; The second intro stage music in Zero 4, original game rip at the begining with a transition to the remasteres(for nice comparison)

Departure ; Remastered intro stage music from Zero 2

And from what I can tell, they've kept up to the quality standards set by the previous releases.

They actually have an album like this for megaman X and it was awesome, i found like half the tracks for it on napster back in the day, sadly i lost all of them except the armored armadillo stage remix, which is EPIC
