Mega Man 9 achievements and boss sprites revealed in glorious black and white photo

A post on MyGamerCard.Net just revealed some of the truly hardcore achievements for the 360 version of Mega Man 9 (first reported on by Destructoid's own Spacecat). Amazingly enough, the post also reveals the sprites for many of the game's bosses for the first time, though it's text makes no mention of this.

This is big news, people! Doesn't MGC realize how long Mega Man fanboys like myself have been dying to see if Splash Woman is in fact based off Daryl Hannah's character in the film Splash? Almost months! Finally we have our answer in the form of this sprite. From the looks of it, I'd say "not likely!"

The bosses are (going clockwise starting from the top left) Jewel Man, Magma Man, Splash Woman, Hornet Man, Tornado Man, Concrete Man, Galaxy Man, and Plug Man.

So, has this news has caused you to Mega Man-gasm like I have, or are you not too thrilled with these latest members of the "Mega Man boss club"?

I figured that these would be like this. I'm buying the Wii version just for a functioning d-pad alone.

This is a day-one purchase for me. I've always craved an achievement system in a Mega Man game, or some other way to play the game and keep it fresh after beating it a billion times.

Jewel Man is the only one that looks kinda shitty, because he reminds me of Top Man. That's not a good thing, at all.

Oh man, good question indeed. Technically, he was a boss, but I think they were specifically referring to Robot Masters. The line of demarcation being whether or not they give you a new power.

Also, nobody mentioned Quint or the Stardroids. They totally fit the qualifications. Although Quint is a strange case. SPOILER I mean.. he is actually Mega Man from the future /SPOILER. Still, he is a boss who gives a new power....

I can't believe someone would get this for the 360 with the d-pad being complete garbage.

There was a pirate man? PIRATE? Where's Ninja Man then?

Shadow Man pretty much was Ninja Man.

Shade Man was pretty much Vampire Man, and he had zombies in his level.

So Mega Man has had zombies, pirates, ninjas and over the course of it's illustrious 20 year history.

Also, transformers, in the form of Turbo Man.
