The gap has been bridged! The Archie Mega Man comic is ready to kick off the Mega Man 3 adaptation, but not before wrapping up the current "Spiritus ex Machina" arc. In #16, the Emerald Spears terrorist group has detonated the remaining bomb at the Advanced Robotics Trade Show, injuring many humans and possibly killing Drs. Light, Cossack, and Lalinde. Of course, we know that Light and Cossack will survive, but the fate of original character Lalinde is still up in the air.

Meanwhile, Dr. Wily has used the Ra Moon alien supercomputer to finish building his third army. In addition, he has stumbled across a nearly immobile Proto Man and modified him into Break Man. Some big things are about to go down!

Mega Man #16 will arrive in comic shops on August 8 along with the third graphic novel volume, The Return of Dr. Wily, which collects the Mega Man 2 adaptation spanning issues #9 though 12. If you haven't started reading this comic yet -- I've bugged you guys enough times -- you ought to start now, doofy!

Nerdist's spoof Star Fox trailer reminds me of the old Nintendo Power comic

Star Fox is possibly the most under-appreciated Nintendo series. It's had games cancelled, been snubbed entirely for a whole console generation, and hasn't received an original entry since 2006 (although an untitled Sta...more
