Meet Team Fortress 2's next two community-made maps

New update will also address bugs and exploits

A pair of user-made Capture Point maps -- "Process" and "Standin," if you follow the community's work -- are on the horizon for Team Fortress 2 as part of a looming update. Valve also says it will address bugs and exploits with "a list of patch notes longer than a stalemate on Hydro."

In the first of a promised few blog posts on the matter, the company describes how years of content updates have led to unforeseen consequences. If gamers can exploit it, they will. Thankfully, it sounds like most of the existing maps have been revisited as part of this cleanup effort. I'm curious to see what else is included in the update if it all takes multiple posts to explain.

Are you a taunter? I'm not. Okay, well, I try not to be. But then developers go and design achievements around taunting X amount of times, and it'd be rude not to oblige them probably. Or there's some jerk in Awesomenauts who...
I've contemplated returning to Team Fortress 2, if only for a few matches, but I'll probably get my ass kicked. After watching this skillful highlight reel from Demoman player Kaidus, I'm sure of it. This guy knows what you're going to do before you do.
Happy Tuesday! Welcome to Team Fortress 2sdays! Shadow is back with us this week with some recent updates to Team Fortress 2, as well as his plans to bring back his always entertaining series "Between 2Fort," where he interviews both Destructoid staff and community members while they try not to get shot. (F.Y.I - they get shot. A lot)  Take it away, Shadow!
Just the other day I was curious as to what Team Fortress 2 would do for Halloween this year. In fact, the TF2 event is one of the reasons why Halloween is my favorite holiday! Well the update, detailed here, h...
When I clicked on this blog post for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, my eyes went straight to the second image -- specifically, the sobbing Heavy. Love it. Next, they shifted to the Scout wearing a hat that looks like a giant ...
Team Fortress 2 is still chugging in a big way, and the latest bit of official content to drop is the Mann Co. maps, which are now available by way of Early Access. You can volunteer to test the maps for Valve by clicking the...
STBlackST did a terrific job with this Team Fortress 2 short, Hat_Dogs. It's a riff on Watch Dogs' "hack everything" mentality using characters we actually like. Impressive, and -- with the inclusion of that bread line -- timely.
I'll assume everyone has already seen the Team Fortress 2 animated short that Valve put out yesterday and have been very excited to jump back into TF2. Today, the Love & War update has been more detailed, with new weapons and GIGANTIC balance changes. Let's chat about them, shall we?
As part of the next major Team Fortress 2 update, Love and War, Valve has released a new short film called Expiration Date that's nearly 15 minutes long. And it's good! Real good. The update will add new taunts to the game, ...
I've fallen off the Team Fortress 2 wagon in a big way; I used to play for at least 2-3 hours every day but the constant stream of updates and deluge of new items dulled my interest. Watching this latest episode of Did You K...
