Last week we found out that Nippon Ichi Software -- best known for the Disgaea series -- is making a prison girl spanking game called Criminal Girls. Now AndriaSang brings us more details and some screens of this quirky little game.
Seven girls that represent a sin are trapped in the Tower of Hell. The tower stands between life and death and it's your job to get these girls to the top of the tower in order to be forgiven of their sins and brought back to life. Sounds simple, but the tower is made of 832 floors and the girls will have to face some kind of a trial on each floor. Trials will include "The trial of sticky and muddy" and "the trial of hard fire." Yeah.
Three of the seven girls have also been revealed. Kisaragi (Greed), Arisu (Heresy) and Tomoe (Lust). The official Criminal Girls website should be launching later in the day for those of you that need more info because you're all horny and lonely losers.

Nippon Ichi, you guys need a lot more imagination than this. I know you can do better. Problem is, clinging to 2D, will also limit what's possible, to attract a new audience. I hope they can take a step into 3D at some point. Seek some outside help if necessary.
Of course, it's kind of a shame it has to sell itself on blatant fetishism, but I guess there's no bad publicity.

Frankly, this game belongs to "gaming" about as much as those "Girls gone wild" video tapes belong to "movies", or Linda lovelace should win an Oscar. This doesn't seem to be a game so much as it's softcore pedo porn. Which begs the question of why most gaming porn seems to involve young children and rape... why can't it just grow up, produce "The Sims:Porn Star" and get out of the whole pedo fetish thing.
Oh... and Sony will allow this game on the PSP but won't allow porn movies to be downloaded from the Movie section on the PS3?? Yeah, I don't get it.

NIS hit such a home-run for me with Disgaea I'm actually interested in this game even though it's way out of my zone. It's probably ridiculously funny.
But seriously we should wait till we know a little more about the game befor we starting bashing it. It's so easy to take 1 little thing out of context n make the game sounds ridiculous. Like how GTA is a game that let you do "donuts on dead hookers!!!" and mass effect is about "animated sex!!!"
