Continuing the sort-of-proud tradition of highlighting different fighters in the first Mortal Kombat experience for Nintendo Wii, a fresh new fighter of the week has been unleashed: Meat. Now, even though Meat sounds like the kind of guy you'd love to take home to momma, with an eyeball hanging out, you may want to get him fixed up first.

Wii owners: You want this game, right?

Fuck Meat. He should've stayed in thier testing files, along with the entire game..

After MK2, did we need anymore incarnations? Deciption was actually OK... but no more stupid fighting styles.

When we stop buying stupid games, they'll stop making them.

I agree MK is pretty stale but at least it has a somewhat interesting story/mythology. It may be at the depth of an 80's action movie but the campiness of it all is pretty entertaining. And in what other game can you rip your buddies spine out after thoroughly kicking his ass?

I want to play it, but not buy it. MK is fun for about 15 minutes.

I don't really want this game, no. I've said it before: Mortal Kombat hasn't been fun since I was eight years old and all it took was gratuitous blood and violence to entertain me. It's still a plus, certainly (a la God of War), but Mortal Kombat just doesn't have enough going for it outside of that.

I know a friend who will definitely get this, but I, myself, cannot wait for the reboot. Hopefully they get some better fighting mechanics and stop focusing on the multiple fighting styles, because that just annoys me.

They should go back to focusing on semi mythological fighters, like the ice dude, the demon from hell, the lightening god, the all but invincible chinese fighting monk, the soul stealer, etc.

I think this exists purely for us to shake our heads at. This seems like something a 10 year-old would find hilarious.
