Quantcast

Meet Sigrun. She's a dwarf, a former Legion of the Dead devotee who has chosen to give her life for Orzammer. But she's too good to die. Good in battle, that is.

A smooth talker and a convincing Dark Spawn smasher, Sigrun appears to be much more meaningful addition to Dragon Age: Origins than the last of her kind, who seemed to have nothing of interest to add to any conversation or battle. Unless you count cursing or swilling mead as "meaningful."

In case you didn't catch it, Sigrun is one of the five new party members in upcoming Dragon Age: Origins expansion "Awakening." Read more about it here.

Finally, a female dwarf. Sounds a lot more interesting than the last couple of characters, indeed.

I've had an irrational hatred of dwarves since the very first time I read Lord of the Rings. Yuck.

@HEL105: You and me both.

The Deep Roads are what knocked me out of the groove of the game. The only thing I dislike more than dwarven areas are mine levels, followed closely by sewer levels. Major turn-offs on all three.

I can't bring myself to create a dwarf character.

@Magnalon Any reason in particular? The dwarf is my favorite race.

I would like to contribute the fact that, I too, hate dwarves.

Yes! 1 step closer to an all-dwarf party... Now to get around the magic issue.... BTW the rest of you don't know what you're talking about. Dwarves rule. ;-)
