We're doubtful that mage and new party member, Anders, will fill that massive void in your chest that Shale leaves by not being available in Dragon Age: Origins expansion "Awakening," but Anders might just make you laugh a time or two.
Officially introduced this afternoon, Anders is something of a reverse Alaistar in terms of role. Anders is a mage who doesn't like the Chantry and apparently has issues with the templars from time to time because of it. But don't think he's sour on the inside -- the trailer above seems to indicate otherwise.
Dragon Age: Origins -- "Awakening" is slated to hit March 16 for the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I thought that we have this problem at the end of the year, not the begining.
Nice to see a HUMAN MALE NPC spell-bomber, at long last.
