I've got a question: Why should anyone play this game? In other words, what's their hook? Do they know what over-saturation means?
I will play it. The campaign of the first was fun. I got it from gamefly, beat it in one sitting and returned it. The one character death in it had more weight than all of the Modern Warfare deaths combined.
Also, this years competition is just another shitty history shooter. I tend to avoid those.

Let this series die allready, you don't beat call of duty by copying it you beat it by making the next best thing, How about Mirror's Edge style parkor with Guns and a cover system and vehicles and character customization, somebody make that game and we'll talk
I've got a question for them. Will the MP maps be more spread out and open? The MP maps in the last game felt too small, too many choke points and "halls of death" if you know what I mean.
Regardless, I'm definitely picking this up, I loved the SP campaign in Medal of Honor.

Does anyone else think this looks exactly like Battlefield 3 stylistically? I mean, I know it's the same engine and all, but that doesn't mean it has to look EXACTLY the same. I'm expecting BF3 with no vehicles. Won't be bad, won't be great, but will be fun.

Needs something new (or at least be really polished) after BF3 being such a good blast (and still so after months of release).
MOH 2010 single player was fun ..but short, while multiplayer on the PC was infuriating! You get behind cover and then deaths skeletal hand would take you a second later. Either bullets were bending or the game suffered terrible hit detection/damage latency (even on low ping servers).

Based on the map, it seems one mission might take place in Sweden, interesting. I'll keep an eye on this.

Did you play the last one? Single player was WAY better than BlOps or BF3 and the MP looked very nice just got stale way to fast. I had to do a double take with how bad BlOps looks online when compared to MoH (PS3)

Really enjoyed the last one can`t wait for this far better than Cod series which has just gone stale since MW2. I hope this is like BF3 my favorite game since BFBC2. The last Medal of Honor was unfairly slated I had at great time 1000 pointing it.
Agreed with Samuraidino. Battlepuncher is a far superior name.

Question: how's the sound production on this one? Frostbite-based games have this tendency to have some amazing sound on them, is this game no different?
The SP was good in the first game. I just hope the SP will last longer this time and it would be great if the MP could forge his own identity instead of being a shameless COD/BF clone.

@mix Blacks Op campaign might be better than MOH and BF3 combined. MOH didn't bring enough to the table. Its like Battlefield Lite. This market of Modern shooters is too big to even get hyped for this. We need a new setting.
I hope they don't make it like Battlefield. If you want Battlefield go play Battlefield. The large sprawling maps are what ruin that game series for me. The first game to me was a nice mix of both BF & COD.
A game that was more contained with close quarter action but required knowing where your team was and where it was safe to be was alot of fun.

Sorry, but my FPS needs will be met this holiday season by two games and two games only: Borderlands 2 and FarCry 3. Other titles need not apply.
I was excited until I saw the Limited Edition. AKA: if you don't buy our game for $60 at launch, regardless of whether or not you have the time or money for it, you're not going to get all the in game content.

Most people don't understand that 'Warfighter' is not some stupid game buzz word the marketing wizards at EA thought up. Warfighter is a term in common usage at the US Department of Defense. It is used to identify active combatants whose primary role is 'fighting' (aka killing). A 'soldier' normally means a US Army enlisted, who often do any number of things not related to killing (patrolling, guarding, transportation, VIP security, community outreach). So calling a Marine, or a SEAL, or a Delta Operator, or a CAC a 'soldier' is inaccurate; so the DoD coined the term Warfighter.

Despite other peoples thoughts, I really enjoyed the first, especially online. With the addition of Frostbite 2, this could really be great.

I wish competent was good enough considering the slurry of AAA FPS that keeps getting dumped into stores. Y'know, I'm starting to think if other retailers shouldn't do what GAME has been forced to do - cut back on inventory. Force people to buy one and only one FPS when it's released on consoles. i agree jakcdan594. MOH has a very distinct feel in the multiplayer. Feels less like a game than some other FPS titles that run the gamut of different locales for the sake of variety rather than some realism for once.

duh, the game is about Tier One Operatives from AROUND THE GLOBE, as it shows in the trailer. He was born in Afghanistan, a country whose men are so afraid of standing up to the Taliban that they usually side with them against outside forces that are trying to eradicate these radical Islamists. There is nothing in the trailer that says "American forces" are scary, Hamza. Where the hell is America mentioned by those speaking in the trailer??

I don't think I implied anything, I was simply reacting to the author's comments that are wholly inaccurate, having actually watched the trailer and paid attention to what is said and what is not said in the trailer. No mention of Americans whatsoever by the foreign-speaking narrators.
