Ever since I read that D.I.C.E is handling the multiplayer I've been much more interested. From what I've read/seen it seems like a step in the right direction for an older franchise that's looking to reinvent itself. Let's hope its one of those "ages gracefully" situations
Wow, it really seems that they want to take the story waaay more seriously that I tought. And I really hope that in this case they decided to put the same effort on the single player campaing and the multiplayer (I really hate short campaing FPS)
Glad they toned down the Cowboy stuff; this actually does look interesting. The sepia palette is quite striking, and the art style reminds me of Battlefield: BC2 if that game weren't the video game version of Tropic Thunder.
Call of Duty's probably been best of show in terms of RPG stories, but I'm intrigued by this reboot. Good trailer.

My cousin is out there right now, needless to say this trailer hit home. Very nice for EA to represent our men and women so well. Day one buy.
I'm very excited for this game. I've always been a fan of Medal of Honor. The last few weren't as good as the first installments, but after seeing this trailer, I have faith that Medal of Honor will win us over again.
I'll buy it day one. Probably. Gotta have an FPS to fill the gap left by MW2. Glad they went in a more serious direction, Bad Company was kinda lame. Also, I wish Respawn Entertainment was working on this D:
Interesting. I'm hoping that this hints at the singleplayer story being handled on a smaller, more personal scale then the over the top direction that CoD's taken.
The dialog is a little heavy handed - referencing their daughter, the neighbors kid, house tasks and "that old ladder" was a little too much - but I definitely appreciate the sentiment and thought put in to it.
Heres hoping the rest of the story isn't as contrived as the trailer. Good luck MOH!

Soldiers don't have families and emotions and stuff, they're all named awesome things like "Ghost", "Soap", and "Dead Eye" and live to wreck shit. What nonsense!
I have never been a HUGE MOH fan - the only true stand out level was THAT Omaha beach landing- but this looks fantastic. I like that it will be representing a more realistic experience of soldiers, and their sacrafices- and I hope the story is as strong as it seems to be.

It's not what he said, it's the way he said it. He just sounded so edited and clean cut. I dunno how to explain it properly.. their was no pausing, or intention.

The tone of the game seems more personal and serious than tha whole over the top Michael Bay COD type of game. Even COD 1 and 2 was more serious then COD4 and MW2
That was lame in my opinion.
Games are all trying to be movies now-a-days when they should just try and be good games. Add on top of that it's trying to sound like an Oscar movie with half the writing talent and it just makes me sigh.

As someone who hated the whole overblown plot of MW2 this got my interest piqued, especially good because I wasn't interested at all before.

I don't have any family or friends that I know of in the army/deployed but I have to admit that the trailer did a great job pulling at my emotions. Definitely a more mature portrayal of soldiers than I'm used to seeing in games.
My interest in this game was zero before this trailer, but now i might actually buy it.
A Modern Combat FPS with an actual dramatic story and somewhat realistic potrayal of soldiers and war itself was something i wanted to see made for a long time and now someone is actually doing it. And not just anyone. Dice handling the multiplayer? Color me excited.

To bad the devs said they "don’t care why the guys are there," otherwise this game might actually be interesting.
That's the best trailer I've seen in a while. Most FPS games are "look how many particles we have when shit blows up." I'm not sold yet, but at least they have my attention.
The end of that video hits close to home for me. One of my best friends is in the 160th, and was in an incident in which the Chinook in front of him caught a RPG in the ass like that. It's the Afghanistan, 2005 incident listed here. He gave me the flag they flew on his bird after that.

That was really good. As someone who was raised up in a military family and who's father has served two tours in the middle east that was surprisingly accurate to what my father told me and my little brother to ease our woes. I'm especially taken by the voice acting. It was just so damned good. I prefer it 100 times over the "BANG BANG BOOM "GO! GO! GO!" AMMO PUTTER SOUND BOOM MEDAL OF HONOR" that I've come to expect from these games.

My best friend is in Afghanistan with the Marines right now so this hit home for me as well. Very excited to play Beard of Honor.
I guess im in the minority Im a big fan of MoH, the first 3 or 4 anyway. So im hoping for a lot out of this one. I never played MW and I never really intend to, but I cant wait to play the new MoH.

I think a game based on the war in Afghanistan should be a sandbox shooter with heavy RPG elements where convincing local tribal leaders that the United States is their ally is at least as important as shooting dudes.

Since my father sends messages out to me all the time in Afghanistan, this trailer really hits me. Medal of Honor will always have a special place in my heart.
