MechWarrior Online founder's program detailed

I know the free-to-play nature of MechWarrior Online turned some of us away early on, but the game looks rather good, visually speaking. Surely that and the brand are reason enough to check out the closed beta, which you can sign up for over here, right?

For those of you who are willing to go all in, Piranha Games has detailed its founder's program for MechWarrior Online, available starting June 19 in two tiers: a $30 Veteran package and a $60 Elite package. The latter gets you an exclusive BattleMech, $80 worth of in-game currency, early access, and more.

While this announcement pertains to North American servers, and the developers won't block IP addresses or anything like that, they are hoping to host similar initiatives for other regions. If none of that bothers you, then go right ahead and sign up.
