There's nothing greater than being able to obsess over the revival of a series you love, which sadly doesn't apply to me and the recent MechWarrior announcement. While everyone got to reminisce about the grand times they had with the series, my nostalgia meter was sad and empty.
But wait, this story has a happy ending! According to Shacknews, the MechWarrior rights owner Smith & Tinker is allowing MekTek.net to distribute MechWarrior 4 and all of its expansions for -- get a load of this -- absolutely free. Oh joy!
While the details on when such a package will be made available aren't yet known, you can bet that we'll be on the lookout for any new information as it hits. I'm excited to see what all the fuss is about; how about the rest of you?
