     Xbox 360

This one is for all of you Dollar Menunaires -- MTV Games/Harmonix and McDonalds have teamed up to offer discounted prices of select Rock Band tracks for the month of May.

Starting today at 2:00 PT, Paramore's "Crushcrushcrush" and Boston's "Rock 'n Roll Band" will be available for a discounted 80 MS Points through May 12. The offers will continue throughout the month, with two additional songs getting the 80 MS Point discount treatment weekly. Use the money you save to buy milk shakes and fries!

The full discount menu schedule can be found after the jump, and it only seems to apply to Xbox 360 downloads applies to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 downloads.

[Update: MTV Games' Jeff Castaneda has let me know that this offer applies to both Xbox 360 and PS3, so everyone can get in on the discount goodness. Sorry for any confusion.]

"Rock 'n Roll Band" - Boston

5/13/08-5/19/08 :

Even though some of the songs were released at 80 points/$.99, they don't stay at that price. So this is still a deal.

I shuddered when I read "Dollar Menuaires." McDonalds ad campaigns are horrendous.

I was under the impression that Crushcrushcrush was already 80 MS points/$1.

Eveyone, the price on the SXSW songs reverted to $1.99(160)price tag. So, CCC, BC***, and Shockwave sell for the regular price.

So wait, what you're saying is that all of these songs are actually discounted and we're not being lied to? I thought that the Paramore song was already ... wait. Nevermind.

Yeah, sorry about that previous statement. Anyway, all I will say is that you may want to pick up the Motley Crue song as soon as possible because the price will go up soon like all of the other discounted songs before it.

Rock & Roll Band, Crushcrushcrush, Shockwave, We Care A Lot, and Dirty Little Secret are all definitely worth your dollar. Regardless of what you have to say about Paramore or AAR (Hate AAR, like Paramore) they're great Rock Band songs.
