May Guitar Hero DLC: Aerosmith, Snow Patrol, and more photo

The May line-up for Guitar Hero and Band Hero downloadable content is here, including tracks from Aerosmith, Snow Patrol, Foreigner, and more.

May 6 (May 11 for PS3) - "Classic Rock 3 Track Pack"

 • "Juke Box Hero" - Foreigner
 • "Sweet Home Alabama" - Lynyrd Skynyrd
 • "Take the Money and Run" - Steve Miller Band

May 11 - "Alternative Pop Track Pack"

 • "Face Down" - Alpha Rev
 • "Low Day" - Capra
 • "You're All I Have" - Snow Patrol

May 18 - "Aerosmith Track Pack"

 • "Living on the Edge"
 • "Love In An Elevator"
 • "Rag Doll"

All tracks will run you $1.99/160 MS Points/200 Wii Points a piece, or you can pick up the entire packs for $5.49/440 MS Points/550 Wii Points.

It's nice to see that some mid-career Aerosmith tracks are making their way to Guitar Hero… outside of the Guitar Hero: Aerosmith disc. Because it wasn't that the soundtrack for Guitar Hero: Aerosmith was bad, really. It was just that the package left a lot to be desired. I suppose to the retail sales of the game justified its release, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who could have lived with just getting some DLC.

That new MS point system is kinda annoying when it comes to things like track packs that are 440 points when you can only buy 400 point increments. Oyy!

There are so many better Aerosmith songs. Put some of their 70s stuff on GH5, and I'll eat it up faster than a fat kid with a happy meal.

* "Living on the Edge"
* "Love In An Elevator"
* "Rag Doll"

I like how these have been in two games now and still no "Crazy"? "Crazy" wasn't even in the Aerosmith game! I want "Crazy"!

Anyway, I'll buy "Take The Money And Run" I guess

"Face Down". Man, I thought it was the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus one so I paused for a bit. I don't play Guitar Hero so . . . no loss, no gain. Need to get some new tracks for Rock Band though.
