Also, based on the screenshot, the whole game is obviously about Max's spiral into insanity as he writes a novel about ninjas. I've never played Alan Wake but I bet it's just like that until the halfway point where Max flips out and pulls a Hemingway. Only instead of merely shooting himself, he goes on a suicidal vigilante death spree in Compton.
I want a good story, as well as good gameplay.
Can't wait but still somewhat concerned with the direction they're taking.
I second your thoughts, sir.
There are games that are not meant to be multiplayer as there are movies that should not get a sequel/prequel.
Hate me if you want, but I feel GTA IV's multiplayer part fell completely out of place...seemed like a great idea, but the final product just didn't fit in at all...
That's just me, anyways...
I don't dig the colorful, gritty style.
I'm sure the ninja is just the next form of media to become warped by Max's psyche.
God, I want the game so much more now!
Don't get me wrong I like multiplayer games,I just feel there are certain games that don't need it to succeed. Especially sequels to last gen games that never had or needed it in the first place.
Plus I'd rather see the development time and effort put into campaign length, and quality.
I think his looks will change through the game, eventually getting to the destroyed Max we saw in the first shots.
"Still haunted by the memories of his traumatic past, Max begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy industrialist and his family in São Paulo, Brazil. When gangs target the family under his protection, Max is forced to fight to save his clients and clear his name, in a bid to, once and for all, rid himself of the demons that have tortured him for far too long."
