Looks like it mught be a good "weekend fun" thingy but this really seems like the exact same game I bought 10+ years ago.
If I had not played Max Payne 1 and 2 before, I would say bullet time is just a gimmick to hide a mediocre shooter. It never gets old, though.
This just makes me want to play the original first 2 games, since I've never played them. But MaxPayne3 in specific really doesn't interest me.

It's so true. I'm playing thru Max Payne 1 right now and I still get giddy like a school girl when I hit the bullet time button and unload on everyone.

Holy shit, I always thought the series was essentially the best Matrix games despite the lack of a license, but this now looks even BETTER than any of the effects in the Matrix movies! John McClane meets Martin Riggs meets Tequila in Lethal Die Hard Boiled Matrix Weapon.
I LOVE the fact that you can slow down bullet time. It maybe small, but it makes those shots extra sweet.

I wish they would have called this game something else because it could be any game on the market. Fans loved Max Payne for the character...and that appears to be missing completely.
But can Max Payne go from 0 to rage in .2 seconds like John Marston? I think not.
