lol ye lots of peeps prob glad they got 360 about now. Personaly, cant WAIT to run with my crew on may 15 SOME SERIOUS SHIT WILl go down
I'll probably end up picking up the DVD version at some point, since it takes me an entire day to download 10gb on my farmland internets. Feels bad, man.
Also, I'd like to thank Dtoid again for gifting my processor years ago. <3<3
Rockstar does not have the best PC port job record and that even goes back to ViceCity and the mystery of the surprise texture pop at 10 feet. I guess it remains to be seen what comes of this.
And of course even Low will probably blow the console versions away.
35GB could be a GOOD sign, too. If the game has a lot of cut-scenes, they may be giving us the good 1080p PS3 versions of them instead of the ugly, compressed 720p 360 versions. Also, potentially ridiculous texture quality, which would explain why the game can scale up so much in terms of RAM etc. So bring that sh*t on I say.
Xbox version for the win indeed.
Oh, and some download services require you to download an installer first, THEN install the game (GreenManGaming, GoG, etc). Thus you would need roughly double the hard drive space free for the installer and the game itself. It could be the game install is only 15GB and they are making sure people have enough space to do the installation.
Cheapo laptop I take it? Those are rubbish and shouldn't be used for gaming.
PS3 I guess... damn I love Blu-Ray!
"I still can't get GTA IV to play nice with my machine." I'm pretty sure he's just referencing the shitty port job and bad optimization of GTAIV. I have a gaming PC, yet have to tweak the game quite a bit to get it to run anywhere near the same level as other games that have come out since.
