Mastiff teams with Remington for gun-related fun on Wii photo

Publisher Mastiff has announced that its teamed with Remington Arms Company to allow gamers the
opportunity to shoot things with Remington-branded firearms on the Wii.

The partnership helps to continue Mastiff's long line of outdoor sports titles (including "Lung shot!" party game Deer Drive) with Remington Great American Bird Hunt. With what may be the longest title ever, Remington hopes the game will "introduce hunting and the shooting sports to youth and non-shooters." If things go as planned, American birds are f*cked.

Remington Great American Bird Hunt should be available on store shelves this month. Remington firearms, should you want to go shoot at things, are available now.

Is Remington going to give us a handy-dandy peripheral as well? I mean, what's the use of shooting a virtual Remy with a friggin Wii Remote?!? Why not give those stupid impressionable 10 year olds a nice plastic replica, complete with plastic shells and a machete. That would be so (awesome) terrible!

I thought the point was to make toy light guns less like their real world counter parts. Considering that one can buy a completely orange camo or camo colored weapon in real life I see a line starting to blur here guys. I don't mind it but I think the twenty odd years or retarded hipocracy lent towards light gun design in the US needs to be redefined for modern times.
