Massive Infinite Undiscovery screenshot blowout photo

It's easy to miss the original RPG ideas coming out of Square-Enix, overshadowed as they constantly are by the likes of Final Fantasy, but the Tri-Ace developed Infinite Undiscovery is looking really classy, and a simultaneous worldwide release has gained many respect points from yours truly.

Observe then, if you will, our bumper crop of Infinite Undiscovery screens. The main focus of the day is on fighting, and the vast majority of these images show off the battles that Undiscovery has in store for you. Note also, there is a shot of the notorious "Innuendo Dive," which you'll see is written out as "Diminuendo Dive." Still, we could always pretend ... and we bloody shall

Between this, The Last Remnant and of course Final Fantasy XIII, JRPG fans have a lot to look forward to. I can't wait to lose a few hours to the androgynous screaming that only a Japanese role player can bring.

From the trailers I've seen I've not been impressed. I'll probably at least rent it from Gamefly when it comes out just because it's a Square game, but it's way down in my queue of games I want to play this fall.

Can't wait to get my hands on this; I am pretty much getting a 360 because of it.

I really don't want to buy a 360 (I have a fear of spending money on products that have a history of breaking) but if I don't hear of a PS3 port of this game within 4-5 months of it's release then Tri-Ace will be forcing my hand.

I have a 2006 model xbox, ive played it for hours on end, hasnt broken, same as most of my mates.
Newer xbox have even better coooling in than mine, if you keep it off the floor with enough room around it(like any decent electrical equipment should be) you will be fine.
Buy some ear plugs though or turn the music up, its a loud beast!!

I actually know nothing about this game because the title just offends me. I'm fine with completely made up words, but when you just bastardize existing words, you're pissing me off.

RPG fan that I am I'm getting horribly sick of all these androginous teenage heros. I want a middle aged, bloated, alcoholic one legged hero for a change who gets into drunken bar fights and is generally a bit shit. Actually just use Zatoichi as inspiration for a game and I'd be happy.

Crescendo, Rhapsody, Gavotte, Diminuendo, Waltz... This is shaping up to be an Eternal Sonata 2, which is good because I loved the gameplay and art design for the ES, the story at the end just seemed a little rushed.

Definitely picking this one up when it hits shelves.

I like the image that suggests your main character is going to have to run the gauntlet against a dragon. With a girl in your arms. Something tells me that part might be special.
