MassDebate: Sequelitis - RESULTS photo

Welcome to the results of MassDebate! The latest entry stirred up somewhat of a metadebate: The debators' discourse threw up some controversy; the inclusion of screenshots from Final Fantasy XII twice in my header montage caused some confusion (a genuine error on my part); and finally we had the detractors, arguing that "sequelitis" was a word that I stole from another site, and suggesting that arguing over a 'trivial' topic "cheapens the site" (because until this blog came along, Destructoid was Serious Business, like Bloomberg but with videogames).

Fortunately we also had comments that got into the spirit of the debate (as well as a few forum regulars popping up to deliver their own brand of justice to the front page) and we have had another great race with a high turnout and some interesting results:

Congratulations to ZombiePlatypus on his victory and commiserations to Aurain on his defeat.

Here are some of the highlights in the comments:

Many thanks to everyone who added to the comments. Next time we will be tacking quite a thorny proposition: Is internet gaming discussion too hostile to be productive? I look forward to seeing you then.
