Mass Effect to rock your PC in May photo

With the high level of anticipation leading all the way up to its release, and the raves it garnered on  the Xbox 360 when it finally did, it was pretty much  inevitable that  Mass Effect would be coming to a PC near you, sooner or later. Well, if you've been holding out for that optimized version,  May is your lucky month. Your ultimate version will include:

-Optimized controls designed specifically for the PC.
-High resolution visuals Mass Effect for the PC features highly detailed textures, characters   and environments.
-Fully customizable controls PC gamers can re-map the control scheme any way they like.
-Run & Gun Control Players can assign biotic powers or skills to hot keys allowing them to play Mass Effect with a heavier focus on action.
-New decryption mini-game.
-New inventory screen GUI and functionality The enhanced inventory system makes it easier for players to equip and modify their weapons and armor.

Most of that stuff is the usual fare, but hey, who's keeping track of  silly things like that? Thanks to the nightly news,  we now know that Mass Effect is really nothing more than a hot alien sex simulator --  by the way, Bioware thanks you in advance for the free publicity.

To those of you who already played through the Xbox 360 version, I ask you this: planning on going for sloppy seconds, or has your taste for debauchery just about been tapped out? Inquiring minds want to know.

Unless there's new content that exclusive to the PC version, I'm content with the 360 version. And even then, I still don't think I would shell out of the PC version. (Says the guy who bought Fable the Lost Chapters for PC after buying the Xbox version.)

I agree with the above posters about MS needing xbox360 to maintain its exclusives if it wants to sell it's console.

To anyone who thinks you need a state of the art computer to run xbox360 ports. I bought a new computer halfway through last year, and I can run Bioshock without problems. Although I did buy it with gaming in mind, it's an ASUS G2SP.

As they're xbox360 ports, I'd assume the requirement to 'keep up' for the newest PC games won't be as much of an issue, as the games still have to run on the same console before they're ported.

Apart from the fact you wait a bit for 360 exclusives, I haven't seen anything that makes me want to shell out for the console.

And my computer doesn't RROD (I hope).

The inevitable. I know a friend of mine who will be very happy. Ironically, I can't find my copy of the 360 collector's edition now. Conspiracy!

@TehBoognish: Not quite sure I fully understand your meaning, but if you are suggesting that the game is 10 hours long I must object: I am 25 hours in and have not reached the end of the main story. I suspect I'll hit about 30 hours before all is said and done.

If you elect to consider the bulk of the game's content optional, that is your prerogative. But I believe that says more about you than it does the game.

Also, how about a patch for the 360 to address some of the minor but extremely annoying issues with that build (e.g. shitty inventory interface)?
