Mass Effect is finally upon us, and some of you may still be on the fence about whether or not it is the game for you. Well, to help answer that question, the Sci-Fi Channel has a half hour long special airing tonight at 8p.m. and 11 p.m. PST, but just at 11 p.m. EST. Weird. Be sure to check it out and look out for some friends of Dtoid on the show.
I make no guarantees about lesbian alien sex, but you might get lucky. Hey! Why don't we have people on there? Also, check out their Mass Effect review, and be prepared for Linde's as well. His will have tits in it for sure. Whether they belong to an alien or me, I can't say.
I was on the fence whether or not to get Mass Effect today or just to rent it. After watching the character spotlights on Live yesterday I started getting really excited. For some reason those two videos pushed me over the edge. Anyway, I bought it this morning, can't wait to go home and play it!
i don't usually play rpg's but this game looks more like it's got a lot of "shooter" qualities that i like so i picked it up from Blockbuster this afternoon,$10 for a rent why not give it a look.
god i hate these "specials" or whatever where, mostly, random people just talk bs for half an hour without saying anything substantial. its like most bonus "documentaries" you get with games and films nowadays. just complete bs.

@0chan, no need to pause a lot if you play as Soldier, but it depends on your playstyle. You pause more for menus than in combat as a full Soldier class. It's still an RPG though ;)
It really irritates me how people are treating this like an inadequate gears clone. Bioware make expansive, vast RPGs, normally with combat proceeding at the user's own pace(jade empire could be the exception, I haven't played it). Probably going to be quite a few action junkies disappointed with this game. I'll be buying it though, bioware would have to fuck up grandiosely to negate the points they made with baldur's gate.
