If that fat wad of Christmas cash hasn’t been annihilated by the desire to devour every other seasonal Steam deal, perhaps this afternoon might do the trick. The official Steam Web page has been updated, revealing a fresh set of price-slashed games to pick from for the next 24 hours.
Sam & Max Complete received the biggest mark. Once $59.99, the series is now available for $14.99. Portal is a mere $4.99 along with the original Mass Effect, while Devil May Cry 4 ($22.49), DOOM Pack Complete ($13.59), and RedLynx Trails 2: Second Edition ($2.49) are priced at sub-$25 values.

Sadly, all this pressure for him to play it is going to make him think it's better than it is. Granted it's an excellent game but he'll probably expect it to be legendary...assuming he EVER plays it. FFS.

Doesn't work that way. I bought Torhclight for $9.99 before it went on sale for $4.99 the next day.
Emailed them, and got a very polite refusal.
I mean, it will definitely be worth my money, but I consider of buying the retail version for $9.99 on the right store.
