I think these are getting worse and worse.

Before, he at least would play Devil's advocate and view both sides of the arguement and at least have real idea's and concerns on said arguement.

Well, Sessler’s rapid-fire rant may have been breathless, but I’m less impressed by the content than by the fact that he didn’t stutter once during the entire segment. Still, it’s good to see people (especially journalists in positions where they’re likely to be noticed) defending games. You go, Sessler!

I'm not a fan of Sessler most of the time, but he hits it on the nail here. I can just imagine the hate mail coming in.

I totally agree with this guy when he was talking about the 50s and being scared of comic books and everything, the times have changed but somehow people have managed to pass on an intolerant and ridiculous mentality that should have been washed away before the 90s even began, never mind in 2008.

I agree fully with you Evyrew! It was Tipper Gore that started the PMRC to try and censor all that "devil music" back in the 80's. It always appears to be a conservative approach when trying to get things banned, but yeah, it's usually the Democrats pushing for censorship.

I recently watched your segment on the game Mass Effect. Please be informed on a subject before trying to tackle it. Your critique of Mass Effect was terribly one sided and mostly dead wrong. It was the equivalent of saying:

Romeo and Juliet is a terrible excuse for children to become sexually promiscuous and disobedient to their parents. Having Romeo and Juliet in your house is like keeping a loaded revolver next to your child's pillow, one day they will pick it up and pull the trigger, but in this case, it will be turning the pages of sexual deviance. Sadly, people reading Romeo and Juliet cannot even tell the difference between it and reality, and unfortunately parents will now have to monitor what their children are reading. Mixing love and adolescents could be detrimental to society.


Unpropitiously, my critique of Romeo and Juliet actually holds more president because I have read the play. Good luck in your pursuit of the facts in the future.

Sessler's alright. Don't forget that he's on OUR side, and HE is actually on TV. So things he says are actually, you know, heard by other people instead of just the community of gamers on this site. Keep in mind.

First off, sessler makes some good points, but is still kind of a tool. I haven't got a chance to play mass effect yet and all of these shenanigans are only driving my want to play... as I absolutely love side boob.
