Mass Effect (finally) has a release date [UPDATE] photo

It’s official! Mass Effect, one of the most anticipated games for the Xbox 360 (besides that Halo thing), will be shipping on June 5.

I would tell you I am excited for this game, but I have to make this quick since I am on my way to a Commander Shepard cosplay fitting. I am trying on my Adept armor today, so I definitely can’t be late.

In 68 days, 8 hours, and 26 minutes, I, for one, will be a very happy man. But, hey, who’s counting?

[UPDATE: This release date may not be offical yet. So for now I am calling this a rumor. If it turns out to be correct than I can put on my "you heard it here first" face. If it is completely wrong you all can just punch me in my face. Fingers croossed for the former.]

Eh, I know a lot of people are bound to disagree with me, but from all that I heard, something tells me that we'll get yet another very generic, bland and cliched Bioware RPG here.

Wow, think about it. In the game you control the ship called the Normandy. On June 6th, one day after the game comes out, the Allies landed on the beaches of Normandy in 1944. Coincidence? I think not!

Well Wired got it from gamersreport.com, which in turn got the news from playerone.be, which apparently pulled that piece of news out of thin air (too be kind).
