will it also come with a pre install of the multiplayer DLC(it's free, but would rather have it on disc)
then again EA man. E FUCKING A
I could see a full trilogy port and how that could make sense but this alone, I just don't even.
Equality and all.
Yes but Arkham City requires very limited knowledge of Asylum. Mass Effect 3's foundations are ME1/2. They were pushing it with only having ME2 on PS3.
I don't get this assertion. I get that Mass Effect is new to Nintendo, but let's not forget Mass Effect 2 debuted on the PS3 about a year after the X-box 360 version, without the option of playing Mass Effect 1. The PS3 version sold really well so why wouldn't EA or Bioware want the same for the Wii U? With Mass Effect 4-or-whatever probably already in the works, why wouldn't EA and Bioware want to test the series on a new console?
What the fuck
That is like saying Pandora's Tower isn't coming to NA because its already out in Europe and Japan.
Its already out in two markets why bring it elsewhere? Saturation!
Still buy it though, been wanting to try out an Action playthrough.
That being said, I can't see why anyone would buy the Wii U version unless they don't own and have never owned a 360, PS3, or gaming PC but really love sci-fi action-RPGs. Maybe if they do an interactive comic for ME2 like they did with ME1 for the PS3 version, it might alleviate that problem.
And as for the fixed ending being in the Wii U version by default? Good. I don't hear many people complaining about that. While feedback to the DLC was mixed, it was still better than the original endings. No need to create some artificial controversy over it. Relax.
@PrinceHeir
EA could port ME2 to the Wii U if they wanted since they own the rights to the game, but they can't do ME1 either way. Microsoft published it and they own the console exclusivity rights. That's why it hasn't ever come to the PS3 (but it was ported to PC).
You think Wii U multiplate games is all about ps360 gamers coming over and it not. It the Next Gen Exclusives Wii U third parties games that will do that.
Expecting EA to port over the previous games is like expecting fish to fly - would be great to see, but just wouldn't happen. ME1's distribution rights are co-owned by Microsoft, so there's a legal issue on that front. In addition, EA has never bothered re-releasing anything besides ME2 on the PS3 (and that was more a glorified test for the system and promotion for ME3 than anything else).
Besides, EA has never released a GOTY or Ultimate Edition of any of the ME games. The closest thing to a complete release for ME1 was its Steam copy, which is still missing Pinnacle Station. ME2 has no complete release for the 360, and the aforementioned PS3 release (while containing several DLC missions) is still missing the last three DLC's released for the game. There has never been a truly complete edition of any ME game, and there likely never will be.
At least the Wii is getting the EC endings patched in - even though it's not much, it's still better than the clusterfuck original endings.
I know it's a cash grab, but saddling new players with garbage decisions and automatically locking them out of extra content is not likely to win much favor.
