Mass Effect 3 Femshep voting round two is now on

0

After all the controversy last week about BioWare's Facebook contest to pick the "Femshep" for Mass Effect 3's advertising and promotional materials, I was surprised to see the vote was actually still ongoing. Starting today, you can vote on which hairstyle you want to see on the new female Shepherd.

Sophie Prell's original on Destructoid resulted in quite a bit of discussion about whether having the appearance of the female Shepherd was actually a good thing. Speaking as just a regular guy, the decision to have fans decide on the any character's appearance does seem odd; as Sophie pointed out, it's not like male characters are left for the fans to design and even then, it's usually a volley of Internet abuse that leads to any re-design (Cole from inFamous 2 and the new Dante from the upcoming DmC come to mind).

At least do the semi-decent thing and vote for the redhead, ok?
