Actually, they did tease a picture of a Cerberus Atlas in what seemed to be underwater with a caption titled, "What's Next?".
You can see it, right here: http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/17/mass-effect-3-single-player-dlc-to-focus-on-shepard/
Plus, I'm sure you've also heard about the rumored DLC named "Leviathan". But no, nothing's out yet. The multiplayer is quite fun though, you should try it out atleast.
Now on topic, that trailer was really awesome. Too bad the co-op is only another iteration of "Horde Mode".
Ofcourse i havent gotten this game yet, waiting for the game of the year since it will come packed with dlc. Im just hoping it will mostly be single player stuff
Gotta love EA. Anything they can do to justify their online passes.
Because surely something changed, and for the better, like those once renowned names behind development of Baldur's Gate, NWN, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age 1 finally noticing that what EA taught them and "made them see" about game making, was actually leading their studio to the same grave where Pandemic and Westwood lie.
How badass would it be to fight a reaper on Wave 10? Or something.
I enjoy the multiplayer but there is so much more potential they could fulfill.
But new MP maps. Yay.
Actually, they're pretty good maps. Rio and Vancouver are huge too.
Same boat as you.
I've managed to stay away from this one, as the demo was even more combat focused, story on the backburner then part 2 was... I felt a little burned that they pushed aside 75% of my old team to make way for new characters so they could sell more toys and dlc's...
Though I still like the story overall (even if it has taken a bit of a backseat to pew pew lazer gunzzzz) and I'm hoping they do an ultimate trilogy release, that way I can replay all 3 again... my old 360 pootzed out, and I want to carry over my sheppard into all 3.
Plus, this time I wanna keep Ash alive....
One of the best multiplayer experiences I have had this past year with such a variety in the characters that you can build up and import into your MASS EFFECT 3 Single player as War Assets.
It is sad that it wasn't stressed by Bioware/EA that playing the multiplayer was how to up the numbers on your Galactic Readiness map or people would have been playing more of it from Day One rather than realizing this later.
