Brilliant. Brilliant, I say. While you all are watching Hollywood trash like that District 69 and that Julie & Julia & Julio or whatever, I'm saving my movie money for Mario Kart: The Movie. It's got everything: drama, action, humor, romance, and even drug abuse. It's everything you could ever want in a film, and it's based on a videogame? *swoon*
This trailer for Mario Kart: The Movie comes to us by way of Dr. CoolSex himself, who tells us that this is the first trailer for the upcoming fan-made, live-action film.
I have to say that I love the voice work. And Peach in a bikini? Nice touch. I look forward to seeing the final film. Please tell me that Luigi doesn't die.

And Mario and Waluigi are wearing the 8-bit ties from ThinkGeek at Luigi's wedding. Another awesome.
One more thing, the voices are done exceptionally well. The guy who's playing Toad did an ace job.
Here's hoping for any exchange that involves a "My name's Daisy!"

Fan made stuff is always the best.
A) If Wario is the big baddie, why was Waluigi respectfully mourning at Luigi's grave with Mario?
B) Peach was kind of hot but couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.
C) Toad was awesome, and he nailed the voice.
D) Wario creeped me out. That's probably what they were going for.
Overall, pretty good!
