Mario goes anti-gravity to promote Galaxy photo

Mario has always been obsessed with air time. In the beginning, he could only hope to run fast enough to jump high, but later he gained the ability to concentrate and jump even higher. Eventually, he found that some self-modification could bring about short bouts of flight. Even with that, I'm sure he never imagined he'd be gliding in space from planet to planet, or that he'd be doing the space float with Dr. Buzz Aldrin.

That's right, the pilot of the Apollo 11, and the second man to step foot on the moon is now doing air tumbles with Mario. Of course, this WTF-worthy stunt was an effort to promote the upcoming Wii game Super Mario Galaxy.

If you were going anti-grav, who would you rather float with: Mario, Buzz Aldrin, or Jennifer Love Hewitt?

There's two more pics after the jump.

How horrible would it be if that plane blew up coming down, and a flaming Mario head just kind of plopped in front of a GameStop as it was opening?

Wait...that'd be fucking awesome.

Also, have to do it, you need to change the headline to use the third picture, only put: "Nom, nom nom", in front of Buzz Aldrin and Marios mouth.

Just look at it for a minute....

Is the game called Super Mario Galaxy or just Mario Galaxy?

TNTv-

Think about it, it went Super Mario for the Super NES, Mario 64 for the 64...and er...Sunshine...

Yeah, that explanation fell apart right there.

He isn't Super anymore...there.

liqideos: It is Super Mario Sunshine.

It was also Super Mario 64.

It is now Super Mario Galaxy.

I don't know where the hell you've been but he always was and still is Super.

Yeah, like I said...that explanation fell apart once I realized I was wrong...but I still went for it.

And Satorious wins the comments. Goodnight, everybody.

It'd be really funny if that was actually Charles Martinet in the costume.

I'd rather float with Mario, since he's the only one who has ever actually been to other celestial bodies.

True story: When I was a kid, Buzz Aldrin's son was the roommate of one of my parent's friends. He really resented being asked questions about his dad.
